Vendor Spotlight: Fast Snail!

With an array of  hand drawn cards, pillows, flasks, and stationary, Fast Snail will make the DC MEETMarket a one-stop-shop. Artist Liz Hutcheson doesn't remember when she first drew the snail, but she hasn't gone away since. Gracing everything from note pads to pillows, Hutcheson's art make all of Fast Snail's products a one of a kind treat. Fast Snail can provide you with everything you may need. All of the paper used in Fast Snail's products are sustainable or recycled. Fast snail even makes apparel with whimsical and artistic designs. Hutcheson and fast snail can even make personalized stationary.

Vendor Spotlight: Avner Ofer!

Join us at the next DC MEETMarket and stop by Avner Ofer's booth! Avner Ofer is a travel photographer who focuses on capturing unique cultures, and creating art from his images. Check out some of his images at the DC MEETMarket this Saturday, July 6th from 11am-5pm at the corner of 15th and P St NW.

Traveling to many remote and off the beaten path locations, Avner Ofer attempts to capture intimate moments, and glimpses into other cultures. Studying the languages, customs, and geography of the places he visits enables him to explore deeper into that culture, and try to revel some of the essence of the place. Using this philosophy allows Avner to photograph any location from exotic Tibet to his back yard in Washington D.C. with the same insight and view. With a degree in geography and camera in hand, he follows a simple concept: Travel . Culture . Art .

Working to represent all the forgotten and under-represented animals of the world, Sevengill creates an array of gorgeous clothing with animal designs. Why seven gills? Because owner Dana Gibson didn't think five was enough. Gibson has made it her mission to outfit everyone in clothing that features cool fish, foxes, anteaters, and plenty of sharks. Vendor Spotlight: Rito Loco!

Can you feel the anticipation of the next DC MEETMarket? We can! While we get ready to throw another awesome market day, we wanted to show off one of our great food truck vendors, Rito Loco! Rito Loco's will be cooking up some great burritos at the DC MEETMarket on Saturday, July 6th, from 11am-5pm on the corner of 15th and P St NW.

Rito Loco developed a unique, creative burrito company. Made fresh with homemade recipes. Rito Loco simply stands for Crazy Burrito. Rito’s (short for Burrito) are not your normal burritos. Out of 9 different menu options only one burrito holds the traditional Mexican style flavor. They have a wide variety of styles born from family recipes and cultivated to make some of the best burritos the DC, Virginia, and Maryland area has to offer. With Cuban, Spanish, and Soul Food flavors our burritos are not your typical burrito.
